“I attended the Elemental Alchemy retreat with Joshua and Amber, and it was one of the most significant and life changing experiences of my life… Joshua and Amber created such a safe and authentic environment for us and really brought their whole selves to the experience, which in turn encouraged us to be vulnerable and reach deep within to plant new seeds of being and unveil true realisations about ourselves. What is transpersonal breathwork?
Transpersonal breathwork uses an advanced breathing technique called ‘conscious connected breathing’ combined with deep body listening and gentle faciltation. This technique bypasses the thinking mind and activates subconscious memories, thoughts, sensations, energy, feelings and emotions held in the body.
These experiences are explored, released, repaired for deep embodied integration. Breathwork is a down-up and experiential therapeutic practice that is guided by sensations and experiences within the body, rather than the mind.
Group Breathwork is a useful practice for:
- working with unhelpful, held or stuck emotional material;
- unlocking your life force and sense of vitality;
- discharging stress, tension, anxiety, depression or stuck energy;
- accessing and digesting unprocessed distressing experiences from the past;
- understanding and repatterning limiting behaviours or thought processes;
- using group energy to go deeper into your own process;
- addressing relational material and experiencing being supported in a group setting;
- working with and releasing ancestral, family systems and transpersonal wounds;
- exploring consciousness and life questions; and
- improving general well-being.
